John L. Savage joined the firm in 2009 as a Managing Director of Strategic's corporate retirement plans division. John works with plan sponsors to develop the optimal plan design to meet their respective goals and expectations.
Experience
John has worked closely with Strategic since 2000 as a primary Sales Consultant and Relationship Manager at Benefit Plans Administrators. During John's tenure at Benefit Plans Administrators, he served as Trust Officer of the parent company Community Bank Systems, Inc. He was responsible for selling qualified plans through financial service intermediaries and was the in-house mutual fund analyst. John also spent 15 years in public accounting performing financial accounting and tax services for closely held corporations, not-for-profit agencies and local governments.
